Father Eric Sundrup '99 receives appointment at Xavier University

We are thrilled to announce that Father Eric M. Sundrup, S.J. '99 has been appointed as Xavier University's next Vice President of Mission and Ministry & Chief Mission Officer.

Fr. Sundrup will officially step into his new role on February 2, 2025.

With over a decade of Jesuit Catholic education experience, Fr. Sundrup brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership in mission formation and a deep commitment to educational excellence in both secondary and higher education.

During his time as Xavier’s University Chaplain, he has become a trusted mentor and advisor to students of diverse faith traditions, offering guidance and inspiration to all. His ability to translate mission and faith into modern, relatable language and media has made a profound impact on young adults across our campus.
